Emergency Tourniquet Strap One Hand

In any emergency situation, First Aid knowledge is a priority, and one area of particular concern is how to stop uncontrolled bleeding. Direct pressure should always be your first choice, but sometimes a tourniquet may be required.

A bad puncture; a deep gash; the loss of a limb. A crisis even in the best of times, but especially life threatening in an emergency or disaster situation.

If direct pressure fails to stop the bleeding, or the injured party needs to be moved, our Emergency Tourniquet Strap may be the answer you’re looking for. Designed for use by professional EMTs, this tourniquet can be applied and tightened one-handed, which is especially helpful if you are the one injured and are alone.

The 100 cm long x 5 cm wide (39.37 x 1.97 inches) strap has a hook and loop band to stay securely in place, and the integrated windlass makes it easy to tighten with one hand.

A large label allows you to note the time the tourniquet was applied, which medical personnel will need to know.

Please note: using a tourniquet effectively requires training. Look for classes in your local area.
